Might be a bit far for you joff but there is a winter league practice match on the K&A canal at Great Bedwyn there will be well over 50 there. It's solid down here, 7 double figure weights there.last weekend . And I'm sure it'll be very similar this Sunday. Draw 8 am at marlborough football club, about 10/15 mins from theM4 south of Swindon. I'll put you right when you draw as well.Rich

Hi joff, I've heard a lot about the wreake opens and fished the water occasionally pleasure fishing. Do you have the contact details for the organizer or club official for these matches. Cheers

The EVWL practice match on Saturday is on the hot waters

Tammy road solid with a green carpet

Trent lock patchy saw loads of fish in the clear bits

Dockholme patchy above the lock dreadful

Sandiacre tap with a few leaves

Stanton Gate also tap with no leaves

Spoke to a bloke fishing said a couple of boats through on Monday

.........He fishes it most days

Gonna be "challenging" both days-i expect to see Godfrey walk past at some time on Sunday
