Dodge its the papers that have made out its because its a political emblem. The realy reason they cant wear the poppy is because in the rules on teams kit it says no team can make changes to its kit during a campaign and as the european qualifiers (doesn't matter if youve qualified or been kicked out ) are still going on the kits can't be altered.
I agree and support that every one should wear their poppies with pride but theres nothing stopping the england team wearing armbands with poppys on them.
