I think the walking distance from car park to river may have been the reason for the poor turn out. Just shows how pampered we are these days being able to park behind our pegs on commercials.
I know we have a few walking wounded in the club, and this would have contributed to a few others missing. With the last match being on the Trent, I forecast a low turn out for that one too
still it happens i hope you didn't get stung for a load of pegging money
the only way you are going to get anglers back on the naturals is to have parking behind your peg i've noticed the club matches that book our water only want the easy access 
and i don't blame them
