Hi, Josh 1337 both myself & macca live 5 minuets from Coseley canal Mate, its a lot better in the winter when the weed has died down , its a top bread punch water and when worm n joker matchs are run on there you can get top sport , but you can also catch loads on punch in depths of winter even through the ice, the best bits to try, are half way along opposite the coseley school there is an ever green that holds lots of roach, then the bay through the road bridge by Dewsbury & Proud Crane hire, it is predominately a roach venue , but you can catch perch over leamed up joker n worm in winter,

giv it a go mate get ya punchs out...............

Should i just fish down the track as the reeds might get a pain casting too?

Hey, i know this is an old thread but only ref i could find to cosely canal...i have recently moved here and was wondering if anyone has fished the other side of the tunnel? there is a grassy verge further down and would be interested to know if i am wasting my time or if i should head towards the school instead on other side of tunnel as it seems to be quite dark dirty water...many thanks.
