Seighford Lakes - Utter disaster?!

Unread post by Josh1337 »

Fished here today for the works fishing competition down in stafford M6 J14 - small pool(Horeshoe) and there was 7 of us.. I drawn peg 7.. Setup my 2 rigs, 1 was ideally for paste(undershotted float on a .19 powerline, with another rig setup to fish bottom..

Only swim that was producing was along the trees to my left, tried everything and finally a bite on a 6mm expander.. To continue I had been broken once and for the other 4-5 times the elastic just went, got control then just ping - fish off :(

Why is this ? I was using a s18 animal, any smaller I wouldn't of been able to hook a pellet :(

For the rest - I went on to come 2nd out of 7 where 2 people didn't weigh in.. Bad bad day Image
