It was good Joff, Barca are like that all the time ( apart from when Mascherano playes cos he's not up to it)
Arsenal are probably the only English team who could take on them in a footballing sense. Man U might have a chance of beating them by stopping them play, the rest forget it.
I must admit to being a bit like, was it Bentner who says the only football he watches is Barca. ( I do watch Derby cos they're my team. I know they're sh*te but you have to don't you lol) All the english leagues are garbage, just in varying levels.

come on taffy prem teams reguarly stuff spanish and italian teams , there not that good, well not as good as people would have you believe. thats twice the so called best team in the world have failed to beat arsenal, spurs smashed the italian leaders. most teams that play arsenal look good because of arsenals style of open play. aldershot would look good if they passed the ball sideways 800 times in 90 minutes.

thats the trouble with arsenal they play lovely football a lot of the time and would seat nicely in the Spanish league and would around the top of the table
but arsenal in the premiership are a differant kettle of fish teams that have stopped them playing have often win whether its long balls, throw in or free kicks

True, I'd agree about most of the italian and Spanish teams, and a lot of their football is as boring as ours, but take out the top few teams in the prem league and I'd say the same about us.
It's just nice to see a team trying to play the game properly, maybe I'm biassed as I love football played the Brazil way or the old Dutch total football.
I used to watch all English football on tv religiously, whatever the level, but now I find it so boring and start watching a match, but rarely finish. It just doesn't seem the same to me. Perhaps years ago you used to know all the players, most of them were British, now you can't really relate to it somewhow ( Either that or I'm just gettin owd!!lol)
I still think Man U and Arsenal are the only 2 English teams who could beat Barca at this point in time.
It's funny, I said to a mate of mine last night before the game that Barcalona don't travel well in Europe although if Messi goal had stood as it should who knows the outcome.
Defences are iffy Dodge, but you should see Derby's, now that is a dodgy defence.

if's and buts and why's and whens after the match can't change the result
and thats why we love the game
i remember watching leicester V arsenal in the cup a few years back cracking game and i'm sure it was 3-2 to arsenal with minutes left when Mashell the slowest forward i'd ever seen scored two goals in two minutes to win the game
