I'm sorry to advise that I've just been informed that the club has lost it's longest serving member


Sadly John Rowlands passed away Christmas Day.

I am sure I speak for all members of Cashmores Angling Club when I say what a sad loss that the passing of JR will mean to us all. The term "Mr Nice Guy" was coined to describe people like him.
He will be sorely missed.

Just to inform everyone that may want to go, Johns funeral will be this coming Friday, [7th] at Gornal Wood Crematorium, 7, Chase Road, at 4.10 pm [Postcode DY3 2RL]

A reception will be held afterwards at Enville Golf Club, Nr Highate Common, [Postcode DY7 5]
Flowers from family only, donations to "Compton Hospice" would be gratefully received.
