That first picture is looking towards where you held Saturdays match. What a difference 50 years makes!!These are worth a look at too. The "Hatherton" branch used to go up the last flight of locks built in this country at Churchbridge, to link up with the Cannock Extension at Rumer Hill Junction.

Didnt recogise the 'area' of that first picture though.........as you say the diff half a century makes
