Was a nice place to draw in this year's Div 1 !
I drew the Dyke and unfortunately the extra clear water put the roach off and that was the first time the Dyke had not fished for weeks ! Anyway a lot of competitors wanted to draw at the weir on that section so where was it Kingfisher ?

Definitely Collingham ,With the wall opposite.Good area.
Bloody ell used to have one of those extending landing nets lol.Must be early 80s

T K , i use to have a book with this picture in and a lot of the other photos , was it called "fishing in britain"? . I still remember the caption to the photo "landing a carp near Collingham", god that must be 25-30 years ago

I know what you mean - with these pictures I'm actually using a 'source' that came out even earlier than that - back in the mid 70's, although I've seen the same pickies in a couple of subsequent publications in the 80s Image
