Alan Wright, National winner in the early 70's then won another on the soar a few years ago !

J H R Bazeley won the National Angling Championships in 1909 on Newark Dyke in 1909. He weighed in 2-2-8.

He also won in 1927 on the Middle Level Drain, King's Lynn with 16-5-8.

He fished for Leeds both times.

When Alan won the National on the Witham he also won the Round table match (over 1000) on the Shroppie in the same year. Image

Yes you are right, I think there was another called Eddie Townsin also. I think, like Alan Wright they were combo of different Divisions. Alan won Div Two and the main one.

I think JHR Bazeley is the only one to win two main ones. Image Image Image
