Warks Winter league Final round
Fished on the Coventry Canal at Nuneaton
94 anglers
With just a single point separating three of the countries top teams it was all to play for on a frozen Coventry canal and it will be the powerful Shakepeare Superteam side led by Mick Hatchard that will be making the journey south to the Kennet and Avon canal Semi final.
Consistency was definitely the winner on a day when half the side came back with top 3 in section with 6th their worse result to total 37 pts.
Making the long (bit of an understatement) trip to Kent from Manchester will be Drennan NW who secured the 2nd semi spot with 44 pts.
Individual honours on the day went to local lad Rob Mallabone who used the unconventional canal tactics of a chopped worm feeder cast the the Marina opening to snare 3 skimmers and a perch totalling 6-3-6.

I think so.
They are not big ones for there!
Keith Brown weighed two in last year for 4lb 6oz.

Drynet.
Get half a kilo of joker and go on peg 136 near coseley tunnel...you'll be suprised at the size of the fish you catch and how easy it is to fish with.
