Great TK, really enjoyed the crack last year despite the weather.
Will definitely be putting the dates in my diary.

Had a tel call last night……..


A northern cut crack rang to confirm directions to Wyrley Grove Bridge on the Extension canal and asked me to pencil him in for Match 1


And when I say ‘northern’ I mean ‘northern’ - his anticipated journey time to fish this opening match is 2 hours

tk i'm an idiot but i'll have a go at them again might not make a few of the early ones due to rough hay commitments

TK...what are you doing to me!! You told me they would start 2 weeks after the last Cashmores match. I have now booked holidays at work to accomodate the fortnightly Gruellers, and you have started them the week after Looks like the prayer mat will have to come out and persuade the powers that be to let me change my hols

The change 'came about' having looked at how the fortnightly calendar ran, also taking into account how Xmas and New Year falls

Received a call from the Northern Cut Crack today............it went along the lines of

You've got to imagine the accent

'Well I fished how you told me and had between 6 and 7lb of bits and pieces in about 3 hrs. You daint tell me about the . '

'You what? Never used the stuff - never ever given it a thought, honest'

'You must do........I was just having silvers on your info, I know the place can throw up decent bags and I'd only got about 2 hours left to suss the cut out so I fed a throw away line of it. Let it settle for 1/2 hour then first look on it a bream, bout 3lb. Then a tench. So I fed another line of it. Went back on the silvers for 10 mins. Went back on the and had bream and skimmers one after the other off both of the lines. That 6lb got bumped upto 40odd in the next hour'
