what a nightmare this turned out to be a mix up with the lake that seamed to be suspicious as we had to turn locals that had tried to jump on the band wagon and fish the league
this in turn put quiet a few off going even though i had asked team captains to remember the rules about this
and to be fair non of the venue experts fished unless in a squad of 10 at the start .even this was too late to get some of the anglers back  Imageleaving me with the spare team empty as most had to make the numbers up and help the other teams out
this week there will be NO spare team for spare anglers of the league as we can make the pegging better

the league match was over four lakes river stream harbour and marina and with dean guess and bob grenbury sorting the sections out it looked good to go
everyone said harbour was crap with no fish in it but turned out to be a lot better than expected
with 6  anglers missing i couldn't pay what i had wanted to which was going to be 6 section matches with the top 3 in each section winning £60 £40 and £20 the pay the top three individuals of the match 60,40,30
i did put a extra £10 on to the section winners  Image
after all the sorting out i hadn't picked myself for the team i thought i'd go in the spare team then found i was fishing for milltackle [sorry lads] drew in the middle of the lake and basiclly balled up from start to finish my head wasn't right for it and shows how wrong you can get it  Image Imageand it will be the last commercial i fish after getting on the river over the few weeks i really enjoyed fishing a running line with the time i have for fishing i can't do everything  cannals and rivers for me from now on  Imagesorry taff
back to the league when all said and done it fished really well in most parts don't get me wrong there was bad areas as well but you couldn't say where they would of been
