Another good match on the R. Yare although sitting on my peg at times you would not have thought that there was not a fish in the river. Not such good weights as last week, but it was still very good for most with all the sections except for the 2 on the Boards being won with over 20lb and it was probably the high tide that kept weights down a little. We had an easterly wind that probably didn't help either.

1st Mick Hanks, downstream end peg 144 weighed in 39lb 8oz
2nd Andy Moss 33lb 0oz
3rd Brian Weavers 31lb 12oz
4th Simon Newman (Yare Rod) 30lb 13oz

Proper fishing

One section down at Langley Pump had all of the 8 anglers weighing in over 20lb ! There were 57 anglers on the bank as well.

Most of those weights were skimmers on the feeder. However this time last year the skimmers just disappeared and the roach fed big time - 55lb was the winning weight, all on the pole, including some over a pound!
