4th round river soar FIRST match on the river this year and with a delayed start so anglers could clear there pegs everything was set for a good match
this year the river seams to have a lot more boat traffic
but this seams to be good for the clear river as hundreds of small roach fed in most sections as i walked the bank most complained about the weed being bad yet the anglers catching never did ::) ::)i enjoyed the walk seeing others catching
the top end of the brinks seamed to be the place to be but with over grown pegs anglers found themselves not quite where they expected still it turned out to be the best section
ROB JONES of LEICESTER SENSAS found a good head of chub and managed eight to 4lb
and about 4lb of bits for 22lb 12oz fishing pole and maggots 2nd was the man at the top of his game at the minute TONY MARSHELL OF QUORN AS with 15lb 6oz of hemp caught roach from the waterside the next best weight of the section was 5lb
just shows how in toon he is with the bait 3rd in the match was JASON SCRIVIENER TRENTMEN with a lovely bag of small fish on maggot 10lb 10oz 4th TONY KAYIL LONG EATON FED 10LB 2oz again a nice bag of silver fish

the formate for this round at lake view will be each section will be a individual match i will be paying the top 3 in each section £60,£40,£20 i will also pay the top individuals 1st £60 2nd £40 3rd £30 this means there will be NO default sections this week i'm hopefull that we have a full turnout as the spare team is full
