I havn't fished it for years so Have no idea on what is happening there at the min, but there are some big fish in there and its was very shallow round the far side of the island as you walk in from the car park.
I think there is a report on here somewhere from when Yale AC fished there.

BIG bait big elastic theses carp are LUMPS quite deep so set rigs accordingly feed to any inside features if none feed summat that gets down when i used to fish the the opens cat meat went(salmon n prawn felix) over pellet and paste dunno now but hold on mate these are lumps

In the height of summer I've seen anglers fishing the floating bread to the islands on the wag............thats dependent on conditions and if your club allows fb's

hiya dubman won a match three weeks ago i was pegged on left hand side one down from the island i fished pellet method feeder with meat or pellet on the hook kept feeding 2 to 3 pellets over the top and caught the odd fish on the pellet waggler. Fed down edge with pellets until the odd fish came in and dropped method feeder in on top of bait. Lots of bream 2-3lb and big carp. If you get pegged on the island don't be fooled casting close doesn't produce much. Back and sides of the island quite shallow. Dam wall is about 8-10 ft deep and theres some big fish down the margins. Second place came off dam wall. Good Luck mate keep me posted how you got on.
