The R.Yare does it again, top 4 all have over 40lb every section except one has over 30lb and that one was won with 26lb. 54 anglers fished and I was 13th with 33lb 5oz.

Water clarity was 8 inches at the start with mild overcast and an ebb tide all day the conditions were perfect for skimmers. The big roach are still about as well.

1st Robert Hubbard, Diawa Angling Direct - 48lb 7oz of bream and skimmers some on the pole feeder and some on the tip from peg 63
2nd Mark Pollard, no not him him another one, 44lb 9oz in the 80's
3rd Nigel Knights, Peg 28 42lb 5oz
4th Rick Tweddell, peg 22 41lb 8oz
Sections
22 to 29 Andy Moss, double default, 33lb 7oz
47 to 55 Nick Larkin, 35lb 3oz
61 to 67 Stu Mill - Default 34lb 5oz
69 to 78 Mick Bartrum - 37lb 11oz
86 to 92 Chris Ward - default 35lb 10oz - there were 3 other 30lb weights in that section
93 to 99 Me!!! :D Richard Watson peg 94 - 33lb 5oz another 30lb weight as well.
124 to 144 (a large gap in the section of 4 then 5 anglers)

It is just a pity that the fish migrate upriver away from the salt in the winter Joff. If we could fish it all year round it would be the best river in the country, but by the end of September the majority of fish have moved on.
