New signings for Maver - 27/07/2010

Maver UK has strengthened its team of consultants with the addition of two new up-and-coming young anglers – Jamie Hughes and Joe Carass.

Jamie is the current Kamasan Matchman Of The Year and a member of the very successful Maver Midlands team. He is an expert on all types of commercial fishing. Knaresborough all-rounder Joe Carass won the recent Maver Classic Final at Larford Lakes and is a member of the Maver Barnsley Blacks outfit.

Maver’s Joe Lowe said: “We are really excited to have Joe and Jamie on board, and firmly believe the future is bright for both of these exceptionally gifted young anglers, who we are sure will be a great asset to our company.

“In addition to this, we have also given team sponsorships to several high-profile teams including Royal Navy, Maver Newman Scott, Maver Bait-Tech, Maver Milton Keynes and Maver Northwest, further increasing our profile across the country.”

Lewis is Dynamite! - 27/07/2010

Former England Youth World Silver medallist and 2010 White Acres Festival winner Lewis Murawski has joined bait giant Dynamite Baits.

A fishing coach and tackle-shop owner in Norwich, he has fished for Essex County, Hot Rods and Mark One, as well as representing his country five times at Junior and Intermediate level, finishing in the top 10 individually four times!

Commenting on the appointment, Dynamite Baits’ marketing manager, Steve Cole, said: “Lewis is an outstanding angler who excels at all types of fishing. He’s regularly winning on a variety of venues, showing his unbelievable quality. In an age where most waters are dominated by venue experts, he has the ability to just turn up and win! His recent Milo Festival win at White Acres is testament to how well he can compete at the very highest of levels!”

Lewis had this to say on the sponsorship: “Dynamite Baits is the undisputed leader in fishing baits with its range of match baits helping thousands of anglers win matches around the country. To be involved with the company is a dream come true. I already use its baits and am 100 per cent familiar with and have total confidence in the range. But innovation is key, which is why the development team are constantly working at launching new baits to help anglers catch even more!”
