we are all aware of this but is it time to reintroduce balanced tackle on commercials these ultra heavy elastics are becoming dangerous coupled with ultra stong lines
A YOUNG lad is lucky to be alive after a pole float speared him in the chest… and punctured his lung.
West Midlander Tom Mitchenall, 16, was pole fishing for carp in a match at Whitehall AC’s Club Lake.
The float came back with such force it went through a football shirt before piercing his right lung.

What about pulla bungs and kids getting into fishing?

i really think anglers think you can get carp and barbel out quicker if you go to the extreme when we had the barbel explosion on the river soar anglers thought you had to beef your tackle to the extreme 10lb line straight through they still lost more then they caught plus missing out on the other fish [mind-you the specimen boys use it now but most are caught at night ] i've done with bombs  :o :o and i've also had someone cast off one side of barston and land just feet away from me on the other side of the lake Image Imagethat did worry me

aint vespe 25+ laccy with 15lb maxima straight through an ideal set up for my pole then joff ?
