This years 2 day Xmas bash to remember the big fellow will take place on Friday 28th December and Saturday 29th December.
The 1st day will be fished on the HanKat AS stretches of the Birmingham before switching to the nearby Walsall and Tame valley canals for the 2nd day. The 2nd day will be the 1st real chance for any teams fishing the AT northern Semi on 9th March to practice
Who will be the third person to add their name to the trophy after Jon Arthur won in 2005 with two section wins then Ian Crossman put in an incredible performance in with two outright match wins last year.
No bait bans means it will be all roach and joker...
Fancy your chances.......

Well I did appreciate that you could probably hold a 400 pegger on your cut(s) if the demand was there, so no likelihood of that, just interested in likely turnout (was it about 90 last year?) plus a little 'bump to the top' on the AT forum

Last I heard about 11.30am was it was a tad windy on some section areas making presentation difficult
But some decent weights expected as skimmers have started to show
