practice match loughborough canal
Posted: July 19th, 2010, 9:38 am
with quite a few on holiday the numbers were down for this match so we draw in the car park to save the landlord having a early start
checked the boats and i must say out of 10 moored boats only one had moored on a even number and that was because the signs had blown down
during the day we did have a few boats but now I've got my head around them it really doesn't bother the fish
although we all suffered quite spells of not catching
it turned out to be a very close match with lots of anglers being ounces out of the money including me team mate Neil pittfield weighed 5lb4oz to my 5lb3oz and i lost a couple of good fish
the winner came from yet another area of the canal that hadn't fished that well before so it shows the fish are moving all the time again thous how chose hemp were yet again frustrated by the bait and fell behind
in first place
1st MALC MOTT 9LB 12OZ
2ND STEVE WARNER HARMONY SEX TOYS 9LB 7OZ
3RD JOHN SHELLARD LEICESTER 8LB3OZ
4TH PAUL GREENSMITH BENNETTS 8LB 1oz
