ever had one of those days
ever had one of those days where what ever you do it's either wrong or just ever works
yesterday it all started wrong from the moment i got up [late]
i had got my gear ready the night before as i was fishing at frisby a late decision on Saturday afternoon as i couldn't find anything else to go i had worked out if it was flat calm I'd try waggler and a bit of hemp fishing
well that went out the window as soon as i saw the wind i then thought should i go i didn't really fancy it :-/but its a match .on arrival i was met with 25 anglers :-/i thought perhaps a few more would of been there :-/the organizer had pegged the best areas and made it 6 peg sections which i thought was good but as you know bream fishing iis so hit and miss and with little chance of pole fishing or waggler fishing its all your eggs in one basket
first mistake i didn't find out too much info on how it was fishing big mistake
i had brought all the usual baits for bream casters worms maggots pinkies and a few boilies for the hook and fish-meal G/B
WRONG bye a country mile
then the draw 53,52,51,50 not in all the others are flyer's and i mean flyer's with the wind blowing into them then it went 49 ,48,and 47 cutback in a bay CRAP you have to chuck at least 30 yards further than the others and yes thats where i drew 48
from there on it went really wrong i never fished far enough out
and as for bait it was all pellets and method feeders
how could i get it so wrong
so it was a early bath for the first time in years not a good day
must try harder

No he didn't tell me that or the losing fish either. he'll probably say you put him off!! but the point will be raised!!
I take a radio, then I can pretend I can't hear if I don't want to talk, that and pull my hood up, works a treat. mind you i'd ban bank walkers

Joff, is it right they have wednesday matches on Frisby.
do you know what the crack is, draw time pools etc and if they get many there.
I haven't fished it for years. Could you go there and just fish the feeder or method and not bother about the pole

:-/not heard about them taff :-/there are a few evening matches on a Thursday but you have to be a member to fish them i think brownie and Co go on them but i would of thought they will be coming to the end now
I've never seen or heard of mid week matches on there
:-/still its all coming to a end in October as its been sold to a private buyer and rumours are he doesn't want match anglers on it :-/and it will be a £25 per day carp water
