Seeing as I aint got owt to do today, I will start the post off and maybe it will prompt TK to get the results up ![Image](http://simplematchfishing.co.uk/forum2/images/converted_files/yabbfiles/Templates/Forum/default/whistle.gif)
First I would like to say what a lovely couple of pools! Unlike the other "holes in the ground" on the site which looked lie a moonscape, our 2 pools were quite stunning, trees all around, with a "dam" separating the pools.
My draw put me on 19, which on arrival looked nice. Having overheard one of the staff on site telling Ha Ha that there was 4 feet depth accross the whole pool, I set up a rig and dropped it in to plumb, finding a maximum anywhere in the peg of 2 feet![shocked :o](./images/smilies/YaBBSmilies/Smilies/shocked.gif)
Ah well. Chenge rigs and set my stall out to fish 3 methods, Caster shallow, Pellet and paste, and corn.
3x 1oz Rudd in the first 20 minutes didnt fill me with confidence :(
A look on the pellet saw a 4oz skimmer in the net, then nothing. Tried the paste in 3 different areas...nothing. Flirted a few grains of corn up to the island and tried it after 10 minutes...a 3 oz roach.
An hour in and Plan B was now initiated. Forget the carp which are supposed to live here and fish for anything that swam by.
2 hours in and I think I was on plan P,Q or R.![Image](http://simplematchfishing.co.uk/forum2/images/converted_files/yabbfiles/Templates/Forum/default/surprise.gif)
Anyway, managed to snare a few fish on plan Z, the ever reliant choppie![cheesy :D](./images/smilies/YaBBSmilies/Smilies/cheesy.gif)
Wont disclose any weights, but will say I really enjoyed the match and the venue. Had to work hard for what I caught, and felt I had a decent match. ::)
Unfortunately for the lads who were expecting a pool full of tame, hand fed carp, and 100lb bags, it wasnt to be on these pools, as they are completely natural and not stocked with F1's. However, I found it a great challenge which would reward anyone who "sussed it out"
Over to you for the results TK![wink ;)](./images/smilies/YaBBSmilies/Smilies/wink.gif)
