Another scorchio day here in Spain but the Drennan Team England boys kept their cool to finish second on the day behind Italy to take top position overall!
Leading the way was Stu Conroy with a section win in A Section. He was backed up with four points from Des Shipp in B, 10 from Sean Ashby in C, two from Steve Gardener in D and two from Alan Scotthorne in E.
It has been a privilege to watch the well-oiled team in action today, not just on the bank but also from behind where the management team of Mark Addy and Mark Downes were backed up with some tremendous hard work by the likes of Will Raison, Simon Willsmore, Callum Dicks, John Raison, Lee Kerry and several others. Make no mistake, this was a true team job and every single person played a massive part!
On the indiviual front top spot went to Frank Meis from Luxemberg with a perfect two points followed by Ireland´s Cathal Hughes on three points. The Home Nations have almost all done exceptionally well this year.
At least England has one team of winners tonight! Well done lads!
