what will the mood be like
what do you think the mood will be like if ENGLAND have a bad result tonight
its unthinkable really but the USA did beat SPAIN earlier in the year and with the sh#t hitting the fan over BP being a British company although it was a American built rig, staffed by Americans that coursed it this is turning out to be a grudge match

It's gonna be a bottle job for England today with it being there first match but they should do it.

The shortcomings wer there for all to see:
Garracher caught out for speed
Ferdinand caught with speed
It was a far better performance by England though; Heskey and Johnson stood out for me. Their defender Owengubu, or whatever his name is,
was the best player on the pitch.
That incessant wasp noise is doing my crappity smack head in

Shrek better pull his finger out next 2 games or were proper crappity smack !!
Not a bad performance againt a tidy USA side ..... Greens major bollak denied us 3pts, Hesky had a good game but he just never looks as if there is a goal in him ::) he did a great job for the team tho imo, like bill said we look week at the back with carragher, Ledley King was a big miss. If we cant beat Algeria & Slovenia we might aswell pack up

what a complete muppet Cappello must have green tints in his glasses for overlooking the in form Hart for that one.
must admit Heskey had a 1/2 decent game but should av done better 1 on 1 with their keeper.
our poor excuse of a defence need a good kick up the a**e after that tripe. Carragher not quick enough, Johnson and Cole to quick to go forward and not get back.
still after watchin the algeria - slovenia game we should qualify ............ only to loose to Ghana or Germany (on pens again!!!) in the next round

Bit disappointed with all the crap press reports about Green. He made a simple mistake, that was it. If any outside positional player makes the same mistake he has chances of getting away with with it; a goalie hasn't.
I have seen the best goalies in the World, Banks, Shilton, Yashin, Jennings, Trautman. Every one of them made the odd error.
I'm also a big Joe Hart fan; he is in the form of his life but Crapello obviously sees something there and to knock a selection is to knock the manager.

what about the save he made in the second half that kept England in it
goalkeepers will always be escape goats my lad plays in goal i had to stop going to watch him or i'd be fighting with his manager and the other spectators he still plays in goal for a senior league :-/so it can't bother him as much
