i never knew that it was repeated on a tuesday night at 6pm shy sports 3
this week is a must it you believe in long hook lengths on the feeder
no matter how long your hook lengths are they all follow the feeder down it might land 18inches away at the most worth watching
It was on at 10pm SS4 on sky but have a few more
Tue, 8th, 6am Sky Sports HD3

Short hooklengths aren't new tho Joff. many years ago we used to Bream fish all the time on Attenborough gravels, rowing course, Earlswood and regularly fished with really short hooklengths. didn't get many deep hooked like you did with a long hooklength or come back with the maggots done.
We could also fish double hooks and i often found I caught more on the top hook closer to the feeder

That's crappity smack Joff up, he's only got one hook and think of the expense if he had to use an extra bit of line to put another one on anyway. He would have to put his peg fees up

Tight Lines this week…
Friday 30th July 7pm Sky Sports 2
Repeated:
Sat. 12am Sky Sports 4
3am Sky Sports 4
5am Sky Sports 3
8am Sky Sports 3
This week the focus is on carp fishing and Keith will be joined in the bothy by Ian ‘Chilly’ Chillcott, one of the most popular and passionate big fish anglers out there.
They’ll be discussing his latest adventures and Chilly will be sharing his knowledge to help you make the most of your time on the bank.
If there’s anything you want to ask Chilly or Keith, please get your question in as soon as possible via an e-mail to tightlines@skysports.com
We get out for a floater fishing session with Richard ‘Cash’ Farnan at Oxfordshire’s Linear Fisheries. With the warmer weather encouraging the carp to come up for a slurp at almost anything floating, Cash demonstrates his approach to catching carp ‘off the top’ and gives some good tips to help you land a summer specimen.
Keith enjoys a second instalment of sea fishing off the West Coast of Ireland with Skipper Mary Gavin Hughes. After a warm-up session with the dogfish and thornbacks, now it's time to pull out all the stops to target a giant of the ocean: a common skate.
And Keith will have his regular look at the weekend’s prospects for all anglers in Fishery Focus. There’ll be information on conditions, some typical venues around the UK, and the best methods and baits to use on those different waters.
On Tight Lines next week Keith will be joined by specialist angler Bob Roberts. Bob enjoys catching fish, preferably quality fish, and his uncomplicated approach will provide great information for all coarse anglers.
Please keep the questions, and your photos for the 'Young Angler of the Month' competition, coming in via e-mail to tightlines@skysports.com.
If you miss the show on Friday and want another chance to see Tight Lines in its entirety, you can watch it on Sky Anytime from Saturday morning until Midnight on Monday. Alternatively the episode will be available to download as a podcast from Monday via our website - www.skysports.com/tightlines
