With just over a month to go to the opening match of the 2010 calander, who is actually ready and raring to go?

I have not been out since November and have a sneaking feeling my flask is still in my bag Image

I will be there on the 27th to add another new venue to the list. Just got to find out what we are likely to catch?

Keith,

The main thing you'll need is a good windbreak - cos it sure do blow  Image

Now now lads dont put him off already. I took your comfort into account when booking the lake and chose the one that has a bit more shelter. There are some trees around it and plenty of islands to provide a windbreak.

On that basis I expect the wind force to be reduced to a comfortable 60 mph. Image Image Image Image

Just a gentle breeze, should give a nice gentle ripple if nothing else. Image

Tench, Carp, Chub and Barbel as far as I'm aware, and I would imagine something around 5ft to be the maximum depth, though I could be wrong on that. I've only fished it a couple of times Keith. ;)

It was pretty much drained right down Clive. The JCB was actually in it digging it out when they redid it. ;)

I was fishing lake 2 when they netted it. The nets were bursting with carp.

I hope they remembered to put them all back. :-/ :-/

There are some big tench in there but according to Ron in the shop they hardly showed last year.
