angling times unveils new county championship it will see every matchman in the uk awarded weekly points [bang goes team fishing then] for open matches they fish in turn this will lead to the publication of weekly county league table effectively ranking every match angler in his home region [so what if you can only fish one day a week] at the end of the league season [so its the whole season then] the top anglers in each division will compete in a fish-off to determine the five man county squad in turn they will all earn their prestigious county cap and represent their area in the £10,000 all england final
weekly points will automatically be awarded to the top eight finishers in every open event over 10 pegs
bigger matches the more points given [right-o] this bit is good as well only matches collected by angling times regional correspondents or those sent direct to the paper [in other words keep sending your results yourself] will count
the event sponsor,regional final venues, and the all england final are yet to be finalised [nothing changes there then]
