Hi everyone, haven't been on here for ages :-/ The other week I went to a local pond and decided to have a muck around 3 hour match with my Dad,the lake was well frozen over and I knew it would be hard. For the first 2 hours I was getting frashed. He had had about 15 roach for about 1lb 4oz and I had had 1 tiny perch and a nice roach which was about 10oz. My dad was bagging and in the last 5 mins he had 3lb while I was on about 2lb. The pond/lake has no carp, some big crucians and about 5 perch over 2lb. And gues what....with 2 minutes to go my 0.8 line and 5 elastic was put to the test and as I was playing the 'lump' my phone alarm went. I managed to scoop it up in the net and was shocked at the size.It was the biggest perch I had ever seen.We weighed it and the scales went 3lb 2oz. It was a huge winter PB:o~

Funnily enough....On the same week but on Sunday....I managed another nice one at rolfs and that went 2lb 8oz
