Teams Sorry Si but this ghost hunting lark is taking so much time up and I know that's no excuse  ::)

Anyway I am the Captain of my team of 3, I wanted to draw peg 23 so I put myself in that section before I made the draw in the hope of drawing it.  There was method in my madness coz I wanted to get good points to give us a good start, I was pretty confident Tinky and george would catch.  

Anyway we drew first for the order of the draw, I drew No 2 so I drew in 2nd place.  I used my psychic gift to choose the envelope with No 23 in it and when I opened it there it was No 23   , George was in A section on peg 3 and Tinky was in B section on peg 13.

Cutting a long story short, Tinky on unlucky 13 had a dry net, George I think was 5th out of 9 with approx 8oz (can't remember exactly) and I was 2nd in my section and 2nd in the match with 5lbs 11oz, Trevor James beat me off the next peg 24 with 7lbs, he had 2 Tench among his bag and I only had 1.  It was a very hard day fishing with bites vers finicky, the water was like tap water and I was hindered by a Pike approx 20lbs.

Roll on the next one on Dec 9th  :)

Well I was shipping a skimmer of approx 4 oz in and I saw it coming after it. Later on I had a Roach on approx 4oz and it took it off the hook.

Hope you didn't weigh the half a roach in Conna
Did it bite your line off then, I have only ever seen one pike close up and that was the one Mark Douglas caught last year in the teams of 3.
There was also that little jack pike by my keepnet last year too
Theres seems to be alot of pike in that section of canal, would love to see a big one get caught and released.

I'll let you know on Sunday Gem The Pike took the Roach off the hook Si. It was only about 4oz anyway and wouldn't have made any difference to the result.
