Not taking anything away from Steve here as he still had to catch the buggers.
Where the water had been flowing in to the lake from the stream the carp were gathering for food or oxygen.
He had the sense to fish there
They were also gathering in numbers on peg 19 where the water was gushing in.
I'd say there was nearly a foot of water on the lake today.
