There is a gravel bar that runs from peg 14 over to peg 22. Its about a foot or so Shallower than everywhere else. This is where the carp hang out. ::) ::)What happened ?
I was just off it. So Clive and Steve tell me, oh and Herbie said that too.
The guy to my left never spanked me
I lost my first carp in a bloody bush to my left
And while fishing the margin I lost two 1-2lb billies, just pulled out of them.
Will do my blog and a report on here later.

Rolfs Winter Leauge Round 2
Match 2 for me meant I was in C section this week.
I have had some good results at this end of the lake in the summer but how would I like it in the colder winter months.
Me and Gem got there in plenty of time for the draw with seemed to be running on time. I said to Steve and Clive that I fancied peg 16 or 26.
Clive drew first as he was fishing A section, he pulled out peg 4. Then Steve only goes and pulls out peg 9 for B section. My turn, I dip in and pull out peg 26
The Mob Ready to draw.
John Bennett hoping for peg 9.
But Steve Drew it instead.
Gem and Steve Catching up
Dark morning.
Soon turned in to a lovely Sunny day.
My peg, 26.
To my left, looking towards the little lake.
To my right, looking towards the baggers.
Ian over on peg 13.
I hooked in to a carp in the first 10 minutes and have a look at the following picture and see if you can guess where it went
Not much for me to say about this match really apart from I had a great day watching pegs 14,16, 18 and 24 catching all day long.
I managed 2 carp and some billies for my efforts which left me a close last in my section. Sorry lads, I did me best
Clive and Gem waiting for the results.
Ian H smiling after just pipping me in our section, well done mate.
A Section Winner.
B Section Winner.
C Section Winner.
Part of Rolfslake Gold Team. John Was not allowed on the picture as he caught bugger all
Sorry it was late and a bit rushed. Been very busy
