Izaak Walton,Canal Pool Results....

Well least it never rained. I myself had a good day. Poor old Tinky got snagged on a bush and pulled back for a break......

He got one, well 3 of them..... 3 sections of his pole snapped and left his top-kit dangling from the bush Image :o
Needless to say he packed up  :( Image
I had the pleasure of watching Sprucey catching all day and steeling my fish from the far bank from the next peg.
I fished caster shallow then swapped to pellet shallow across. Had a few fish from the inside also.
Catching was patchy, went through spells of catching nothing and then having 3 or 4 in a row  Image
The pegs round the place are w*nk, Whats the point of having slabs or pegs when they are set back 2 foot from the waters edge  Image Image

Results for day can be found by clicking the results  link HERE

Picture will be on in a bit and the averages will be updated when Gary sends them too me through the week.

Not before or after the big bang, the atom splitting and the advent of evolution has anyone sat behind Simple and learnt how to catch fish!

Conna, you sure did spell Merthyr Tydfil correctly!  :) i have only fished one venue here in Wales, not the size of fish i like catching but its close to us (11mins drive) a variety of speices, the owners are ok and they let me use there loo!  :D the fishing isnt upto much in Wales, its mostly trout/salmon in the Rivers. Me and Dad go back to the Midlands for fishing- slows down from now but come the summer itll probs be couple times a month  :)

Tinky has invited me to fish future matches with you guys, so maybe one day ill come along and fish  :) lovely to be invited when its the 1st time i had been introduced  :) so watch out guys i might be after a pound coin one day  ;)

No idea how i get some of the results, more luck than judgement, but many bad days! As Si knows im not a very organised or prepared angler   ::) Image

Hey Gem, I'll give you a pound on every match if you promise not to beat me :)

The Yale is full (i'll re phrase that) got a few anglers in it with all sorts of capabilities but theyre all nice blokes, I can't say a bad word about any of em, well maybe one lol no Si it's not you and no prizes for guessing either :)

Q. How long does a spliff last at 178mph :D

Lol so true. I'd guess it would last at least until he got to 100 mph and then it would be bent back double on him :D Image
