However let me tell you something that i have noticed before, when we have a pressure drop from high to low, this often effects rivers. Especially deep rivers. Roach often stop feeding when this happens (unless in solid areas).
I think I made a mistake by staying on the punch for too long and did not go on the worm lines until 30 minutes into the match. I know it sounds daft but sometimes these bonus fish feed very early then have had enough.
Its a gamble, odd roach on the punch. Do you come off it or try and get it to kick in !

Had to go into the river after the match to get a No.5 section back. Up to me neck freezing water holding on to a landing net handle held by Grumpy.
Got section out which was first bit of luck this year !
Ah well there is next week

yes its getting quite noticeably mate your new lads must think its a different river fishing for quorn one hasn't had less then double figures in every round oh to get pegs like that mate still thats fishing one day we might start a winter league series like that ::) ::) ::) ::)
