i've heard a rumour that the individual national where the top two anglers of each team qualify has been axed
but the angling trust are introducing a national run individual match where every angler can fish whether he's in a team or not as long as he's a member of the angling trust
i'm sure the date has been set for 11th of september not sure on the venue has anyone heard about this
top idea in my eye's

Not heard it Joff but what a great way to get a lot more anglers to become members of the angling trust.

not sure but i think it will be on the staffs/wors canal that should be bang on at that time of year

Just to confirm that the 2010 Individual Angling Trust National Individual Championships will be open to any member of the Angling Trust and will be held on the Staffs-Worcs Canal, in the Stafford/Penkridge area on Saturday September 11th.
It will be open to any member even if they fish the Divisional Nationals as well.

It is all 'early days' yet on the structural front but the headquarters, St Leonards Sport and Social Club, Stafford has already been booked for the event.
The event could well include a Junior section as all the facilities are there.
A lot of work has still to be done but that is basically it for now.
