Last nights England game which was shown on line only was watched by a meer 1/2 million people http://www.sportinglife.com/football/ne ... ernet.html
I wounder how may other people watched it for free on various websites who were showing it Either way im sure that lack of people who paid for it will prove that its not the way forward to show future games on line only

england game on line
I must admit to watching the free under 21 game on the FA website and thought it was as good as watching it on TV. Just a smaller screen but there was no problem with the buffering and the picture quality was very good.
I agree it is not the way forward. As TV and pubs are where the footie should be shown. But as another form of media it did not disappoint.
