Well I got burnt and received a bad headache for all my efforts :(

I drew peg 8 which wasn't much to look at but it had some fish in it. I only set up 2 rigs, one for on the top a poly ball and I used that same rig for my inside work too and a rig for fishing out at 8m. I started at 8m feeding pellet and meat and fed the margins with pellet and corn but I started on the top which is unusual for me but I had a fish after 10 mins and another 2 in the next 45 mins and I lost one (pulled out) I then tried on the deck as there were loads of bubbles coming up but I couldn't get a bite so came inside and tried those lines, I stopped there then as I could see the water clouding up and fish moving. I finished up with 7 fish for 35lbs and lost 5. Richard Buxton won off peg 12 with 60lbs from the margins in the last 2 hours and good old Mick randle finished 2nd with 55lbs I think. Andy was 3rd with approx 40lbs and yours truly was 4th again ::)

It was a hot day to say the least and hard work weighing in. I hope your returning on the scene soon mate or I'm gonna have a heart attach :P

I broke my landing net handle somehow, it cost me £50 12 months ago and I'm well p****d off about it. I have managed a fix it job though and thanks to Mr Tinky on the next peg he loaned me his spare.

Tinky had some nice fish in his 31lb bag, I thought he would have beaten me but he didn't, maybe next time.

I won't be at the next one as I'm on my hols for a much needed break so good luck to those who are going. Image

I won't be at the next match either. Not the girlfriend this time ;) I'm going to the Horns with Goodyears to hold Tinky's hand :D
Will be a bit bare at Kingy's from what I hear then :-?

As for weighing in...... Imagine how hard it is when people actually catch fish :D Image
