Bait Limits ?

What are peoples views regarding bait limits ? is it a good thing or a bad thing ?
I have all the usual outgoings that most people do.....Mortgage,bills,kids with expensive hobbies, etc and when you take into account pools, bait, travelling costs, brekkie, pint afterwards ? it becomes quite an expensive day out.
Would the introduction of bait limits improve turn outs on the bigger canal matches ? Would it level the playing field ?
Your views please gents.

when it comes to B/J fishing you do see bait limits but the trouble with bans and limits its hard to police the french take it very serious and have stewards that do check your bait religiously over here you will always have anglers trying to pinch a inch
and lets be about right just because you have a lot of bait doesn't mean you going to catch more Image

If i owned a water i would have the 1.1pint Drennan bait tub of joker limit we use in the Sensas Challenge matches. All you need to do is ask the guy on the next peg to check...

...that way I'd never get checked! Image
