Simple Match Fishing Forum

On Saturday 19th September 2009, British Waterways held the BW Canal Club Championship. This event was open to all angling clubs and individuals who are licensed the fishing rights on canals within the British Waterways West Midlands boundary unit.

75 anglers (25 teams of 3 anglers) representing the angling clubs battled it out on the Coventry canal in Coventry between Cash’s Lane (Bridge 2) and Swancroft Road (Bridge 5).

i owe marrygold another Mars bar i only did 14oz.....dropped a 6 oz roach in trying to swing it to hand.....what a prat..i will never learn....but i blame the drunken serb on the phone and the domestic i had going on behind me....why does darren massey attract all these people

It must be us good lookin blokes who fish for shaky that attract every one, Any way he was Lithuanian and he made me loose a 1lb roach as he tried to grab it out of the water to eat. thats what i think he was on about any way. i told to f--- off eventually. His reply was ok i will go back home then that was the last i seen of him. No wonder there aint any fish left for us.
