it doesn't GET any better than this team event with two rounds left every team could slip on a banana skin  Image Image it's out there for all to draw  Image Image Imagei've had endless phone calls all ready about i can't change the pegging both of the next two rounds have got to be the same :o :o :o blimey its like Russian rullet Image Image Image
Image Image
well the river hadn't seen any extra water for a few weeks now and being gin clear and hardly any flow the one section everyone wanted to draw was the 1860 all the work the lads had done none of us managed to draw it Image Image Image
but on the day every section fished well and turned out to be one of the closes league matches we have had with the river being full of small roach anglers had to choose whether to sit it out for big fish or taget the bits Image Imageone way or the other the points would tell you at the end of your match whether you made the right choice Image Image Image like i have said before the standard of angling in this league is top class and so much depends on the areas you draw because it doesn't matter if your a top class angler if you draw a bad area its very hard to to get the points you need great for the thinking angler thou  :-? :-[ :-/ Image
back to the results like i said the 1860 was the section to be and joe oaks made no mistakes with a fine catch of red fins on hemp 17lb 5oz followed by mr hemphead himself tony mashell i think he must of forgot his hemp because he weighed in 14lb12oz of perch and a few roach :o :o third was alistar chisholme again 12lb 2oz of roach 4th was pete marlow with 10lb 13oz and the only angler to make the frame a way from the 1860 was dean guess with 9lb 15oz
