What a stunning, and may I say fair, venue Thorpe was.
Didnt stay for the final results, but there were some really good weights.
Myself, I had 17lb odd, mainly chublets on the feeder, and a few small carp with 1 barbel and 1 tench thrown in for variety. All on tip fished to island.
Could only catch gudgeon and small roach inside, they were even taking meat and corn. Hence I fished about 4 hours on the tip, which anyone who knows me will tell you its not my favourite method ::)
Watching some of the weigh in, I never heard one bad word said about the venue, so I should imagine TK may well want another look at it next year ::)
Its only 30 minute from my house, so I may pay it a visit or two again and try and sort out what I seem to be doing wrong on these types of venues.....any advice would be warmly welcomed

A lot of 37's there, are you sure your scales are working right

Just seen the full results and with a 'treasurers hat on'...........
[move]PHEW[/move]
The GP lives on for at least another match thanks to Sprucey putting a blocker in and stopping both MarkV and Big Baz from scooping the pot as they were both sitting on golden pegs and finished 2nd and 3rd ........
Another trophy for Sprucey to pick up at the presentation night.......... - all we've got to do now is 'teach' Sprucey how to fish the rivers
