Whats this guy putting on his hook
Watched him in April on the Common right on the junction with the Extension - he started off on the punch, was having roach and then he 'converted' the line to a seed line by gradually introducing a few grains.
He was having a better stamp of fish on the seed, after every fish he potted in about a dozen grains, lowered his float in and away it sailed

yes m8 i was just the other side of the iron bridge bit more sheltered there, bloody wind nearly blew me wig of @ times.lol not a bad start had 6 straight of on punch bout 4-6 oz mark then wind picked up a bit and sort of died a bit then a few skimmers best about 1lb then died again so went on chop and had loads of perch ,back out on punch and had a tench which might of gone about 3lb good fun on size 20 to lb n half H/L.
got thee bout 11 left just after 3 looks like i owe u a £1 day ticket money lol nowt on the seed but not fished for a good ten years so need a bit of practice there

Typical :( - I parked up at Wood Lane - there was one youngster to the left of the bridge - he'd had some roach and a bonus perch about the lb mark, and 1 guy first peg to the right, having silvers on mag down the track.
I looked along the common, but obviously couldnt see you the other side of the bridge.
Good to hear you had a few tugs though
