one hell of a match everyone who had been down to barston in the week had told me how good it was" it's fishing its head off" they said. up early sunday morning plenty of time as the draws at 10 am fish 12 till 5pm let the ducks out only to fine two new additions two little yellow fluffy ducklings 8-)Ar i quickly moved them as ducks are not the brightest animals and easily trample there young left the rest to the tank commander
loaded the kit and away lovely breakfast and time for the draw
everyone i thought were happy [even bucko ] but no just a few teething problems soon sorted
six top two's waggler rod and bait at the ready then i realised its not the best area in fact its probable the worest area on the lake. still you are were you are and thats it and after half an hour and fishless i could see the writting on the wall and with spig one side and bucko next to him
you can imagine the banter and the moans
in fact everyone around the lake could hear bucko
it did end up the hardest section and bucho put 16lb on the scales to my 14lb
but still at the end of the day IVAN would of loved to of fished my peg
and thats how i take fishing
but what a match ,guest star darran cox's drew his pants off [good angler good peg only one out come]and made no mistakes with a weight of 124lb14oz of bream and skimmers

most of the anglers have never seen barston but soon adapted to the fishing[a part from bucko]
all theweights were made up of skimmers and F1s only a couple of bigger carp showed one of 8lb and i think the other was smaller
