Private Lake 5th September 2009

Right for our next outing I have managed to get a booking at a Private lake. For those that dont know its a place full of carp that is only fished by a few clubs and guys that know the owner. Its just an extra match I have managed to get and will be an unoffical Marsh match. Because of that I dont think its right that any money should come out of the club funds to cover this, so fees for the day will be £7 plus £2 pools.

Its not a large lake and the fewer fishing the better so i will be contacting everyone soon to see how many members we have before confirming any guests.

Dont forget you invited loads of my guests over the last few matches and I know one wants to fish as he missed the last one.

He reckons I would not have caught that much if he had been there.

Bill, as you fish it a lot and can go virtually when ever you like i think its only fair to give priority to those who have never fished it or are unlikely to ever get a chance to fish it. I also want to keep the numbers down to try to ensure everyone gets a good days fishing.

I will put you on the list but it will be at the bottom.

I'm sure that even if you don't get to fish as a guest, you would be more than welcome to come down to point some of the Marsh lads who are Shannon's Virgins in the right direction.

Don't know about east european but I could probably pass myself off as an East Indian ( if there is one).

Has anyone also noticed how quiet Al has been now the match is getting closer. This is supposed to be his "banker"venue and it seems to me that he is running scared or is too busy tying new rigs and making sure he has enough pellet with him this time around.
