Seriously though .... how difficult is it fishing an ebbing tide with 14 mtrs of pole and keeping all them roach in your peg

Sorry Dodge 
Very easy mate just keep throwing balls of proper (Van den eynde) groundbait rammed with Casters and hemp at them all day and they jusy keep coming.
It was a lovely days fishing 150 Roach upto a pound for 33lb 10oz. Down side was i had drawn a Bream peg and fished the feeder for about 45 mins which cost me winning the match.
As for the water level it drops between 2 to 3 foot at one time the fish in my net were in about 6 inches of water.
I still can`t believe they only on average about 40 anglers each week, thats why i stopped going there, a 240 mile round trip didn`t seem worth it.

well there's two venues for a UK championship on rivers trent another one more fish them between august/october brilliant job done stop your moaning and get on with it
