Tickets are available for the John Wright Memorial Match to be fished on the Shropshire Union Canal at Goldstone and Soudley on sunday 23 rd august. The draw is at The Lord Hill pub Market Drayton 8.30 - 9.00 and fish 11.0 - 4.00.

Tickets £15 MUST be paid for in advance on 01280 - 587945

This should be a 100 plus peg match

Think this match may have been one of the best canal matches ever !

One section of 10 anglers weighed in 94lb between them

with 8lb only good enough for last !

Poor old preecy didnt get in with 15lb odd of squatt fish

Think there was something like twelve double figure weights

and almost everyone had 5lb plus
