Well we are back at Pathfield lake at Colemans Cottage next. I have fished 2 matches there this year both times ending with 50lb odd for 2nd and 3rd placings.
Will it have more water in it this time and fish more a bit more consistantly with a few weights approaching the ton as in previous years. Still at least it will be in decent surroundings and a good brekkie.
So who is up for it?

Its very quiet on this thread.
Is it you all know all about Colemans as its the third visit for some of us.
OR are most of you too exicted about the Rolfs weekend to worry about the following week.

Probably due to the fact that quite a few of us will be at Rolf's this weekend.
I'm sure that the banter will start after that.
Keith,
Did I see that we'll be getting a visit from "The Quiet Man" at Colemans?
It will be good to catch up with Pete.

I am sorry to have to tell you that Pete is a reformed character. He only tells you once now.

I get the feeling that you two are winding me up and that Pete is a bit like Malc and never shuts up.

No I havent Peter. Im not sure I want to now. :( :(
Al. Mr Thompson is the guest that Keith is bringing. He needs someone to travel with who can beat him as he has got used to it everytime he brings Mick Wright.

If the paste is working then Pete will be a force to be reckoned with.
Pete can vouch that he is prone to trying different things out in matches. He is currently thinking about pearl barley and would love to know if you have any experiences with it good or bad.
He is also glad that someone has a motorised trolley. He will need a lift to his peg.

Well Ive just got back from a trip to see Dad in hospital up town and if it keeps on like this it will be over the banks.
Never used Pearl Barley though I did try wheat a couple of years ago. Did get a few on it but didnt give it a real good trial. cant see any reason why it wont work well.
Tell Pete yhat the motorised trolley is available for hire at very reasonable Cockney rates.
The carp at Hartleylands on the Res love tares so should give them an extended trial.
Colin uses paste there all the time and has managed 144lb in one match but it doesnt always beat the pellet and other baits
