Got there early must have been doing slightly more than 70 on the motorway
Had a walk round with Sprucey, there was fish topping all over the place. It was flat calm. Looked lovely.
The rabble arrived and the draw got under way. Now before Tinky says anything, there's 2 good pegs either side of the jetty, peg 12 and peg 11.
I dipped into the bag and pulled out peg 12
The Wheels on my trolley were on fire again getting round there.....

After fishing here last week for Yale I decided again to keep it simple and fish the same as before, but with some added information on the margins. Thanks too... you know who you are
I setup 5 meter on the deck pellet rig, 10 meter shallow and one margin rig as the depth was the same either side.
On the all in I started on the 5 meter line and had to wait about 15 minutes for a bite, a carp. Carried on catching slowly while shooting some pellets out for the shallow line.
After about an hour I went out shallow which was a waste of time, they were out there swimming around but were not interested in food yet. So I tried either side of my margin and nothing. So back out to the 5 meter line and started having a few again.
I kept rotating regularly. I eventually had a ghostie shallow that gave a right good scrap and had me standing on tip toe to land it :-[
I had kept feeding the margins and on going back on one side with a whopping lump of meat the float shot down I struck and the red hydro shot out towards the middle of the pool. I was just putting extra sections on to ship out and it stopped and floated to the top, a mirror for about 10lb. Short and chubby just like Tinky :P
Had another 3 fish from the margins on the meat while feeding corn and pellet. Another double and some smaller ones.
For the whole match Tink has had me in stitches, taking the yellow stream outta everyone. I had not seen many people catching so I was quite excited :D Time for the weigh in.........
My guesstimate was about 45lb. I weighed in 43lb 15oz and won the match First win this year and prolly my last
It did not fish the same as last weekend, it was alot slower fishing. We had about a hour of light rain in the first hour of the match then it turned out to be nice again and I was down to my T Shirt.
A better day that yesterday anyway :)
