ANGLING TIMES get it wrong again

the last team to win the angling times winter league final with in the last 10 years outside of the big four essex, dorking, starlets and barnsley was
LEICESTER SENSAS in 1999 not trentmen

I heard a rumour that Downsy wasn't very gracious in defeat, apparently Shaky only won because they had a good draw

What team ever wins off a bad draw

we nearly had him as well mate

3 points
i'm pleased shakespeare won and nobody is talking about dorking they are human after all.its good for natural venues and good for match fishing
don't forget shakespeare came last in the super league final and have won the winter league final it shows every team has good and bad days
a good draw helps but who new what a good draw was before hand and to average 3 points a man is brilliant by any standards it might be a record for the competition

I just hope it stays on a natural venue, wherever that may be as i think a commy would devalue it. I also hope it stays as teams of ten as smaller teams dont make more teams thats been proved

our league will stay at ten what ever this time lloydy we should of kept it at 12 last time anglers want to fish not walk the bank and we have seen lots of anglers go to commericals through this nobody likes to be dropped but facts are facts you have to put your best team out

if you look at dorking they have the very best anglers but there squad is not massive but are all 100% fishing saturday, sunday and midweek our lads just can't do that

Dorking are awsome and have the right mix of anglers who want to fish everywhere and specialists, The bigger teams also have anglers that rarely fish but are happy to stay there because they feel they can learn more off the top anglers plus their team are winning things, thats not for me personally as i like to take part but i have seen the improvement in anglers that have moved to bigger teams

Digger Conway takes some beating for teams. He is sponsored by MFI wardrobes now.
Woodrot fished for our lots for three matches; I think he was baffled by the white stuff
