Bill,
Would it be possible for myself and grumpy to come and fish the practice match on Sat and just myself on Sun. Any details such as draw time, where the draw is etc., would be a great help.
Will check this in the morning as i am going to work now, cheers Bill.

Choppie,
You are both booked in for Sat and just yourself for Sun.
DIRECTIONS
A50 and come off, going into Uttoxeter or B5017 to Uttoxeter. In Uttoxeter you want the A518 to Stafford. It is a crap road!. After about ten miles you will come to lights at the A50. Turn left, then immediately right (lights again) back onto the A518 still heading for Stafford. Keep on A518 and you will immediately enter Weston village. Keep on the A518 and the Saracen's Head pub is on your left, ST18 0HT, - that is where we are SUNDAY.
On Saturday go past Saracens, past the County Showground on your left and straught into Stafford, still on the A518. You need to follow the A518 markings on the road and come out of Stafford heading for Newport/Gnosall, still on the A518. Head into the country, under the M6 bridge and continue on to Haughton village, still on the A518. Pass the *Bell End pub on your right and you will shortly see a sign for Church Eaton on your left. Go down here (only a lane) and follow this to the church at Church Eaton (app 2.5 miles). The road splits here, bear right and go through the main street in Church Eaton and the Royal Oak, ST20 0AG is on your right.
The Royal Oak is 25 minutes, (comfy from Stafford).
*Bell Inn pub

It's fairly easy Chezzer. Two ways, pick which is easiest.
Cannock, A460 to Rugeley. From Rugeley pick up the A51 heading towards Stafford. Just past Wolseley Bridge bear right, still on A51. Keep on A51 (good road) and you will eventually see the canal on your left. Keep going to the lights and turn left onto the A518. The draw is at the Saracen's Head, ST18 0HT, at the far end of Weston, on the left; still on the A518.
Other route. Cannock, A34 to Stafford. In Stafford pick up the A518 to Uttoxeter/County Showground/Hospital. Pass the University on the left, then the Showground on the right. Keep on the A518 go down the steep bank and cross the River Trent. The Saracan's Head is on the right, ST18 0HT.
Draw 8ish, hot butties available.
